  • What are your rehearsal hours?
    For hourly rehearsals, we are open from 10am – 11pm.
    If you have a monthly rehearsal room, you can access the facility from 10am – 4am.
  • Are the studios soundproof?
    While our studios are not completely soundproof, they are very well sound-treated to minimize sound bleed between rooms as much as possible.
  • Is parking available?
    Yes, parking is available in front of the building and on either side of the white cement walls.
  • What’s your cancellation policy?
    While deposits are non refundable, if you cancel more than 24 hours before, you will receive a full credit for a future booking.
  • May I bring my own equipment?
    Absolutely.
  • Do you offer recording services?
    Yes, recording services in The Vault are available by appointment only

  • Do you provide assistance with set-up?
    Absolutely, our team is happy to assist you and make sure you get started on the right foot. If you need an engineer for your whole session, we’re glad to provide one at an additional cost.
  • Can I tour the studios before booking?
    Yes, you can look a tour MWF between 12-6 or by appointment.

  • Do you have WiFi available?
    Yes, the building is equipped with high-speed WiFi for your convenience.
  • Can I rent equipment from The Playroom?
    Absolutely! We rent pro-quality gear only.
  • Sessions in the National Room come quipped with:
    QSC CP12 Powered Monitors (3 wedges and 1 drum fill)
    Allen and Heath Mix Wizard WZ23 16:2
    4 vocal mics (SM 58 Senheiser e835)
    DW 5-piece Drum Kit (Cymbals not included)

    Vox guitar amp
    Marshall 4×12 speaker cabinet

  • Are food and drinks allowed in the studios?
    Yes, food and drinks are allowed, but please be mindful of equipment and clean up after your session. Do not place any food or drink on any equipment.
  • What types of payment do you accept?
    Rehearsal times can be booked online using debit or credit card.
  • Do you host events or workshops at The Playroom?
    Yes, we can hold up to 50 people for release parties, concerts, recitals, and other events. For information on this email [email protected]
  • Are children allowed in the studio?
    Yes, but they must remain under adult supervision at all times. Please ensure they respect the space and equipment.
  • What happens if I run over my scheduled time?
    Your session will end at its scheduled time. We want to respect your time and that of those who follow you. If you need to run over and we are available, you can do so at additional charge.
  • What happens if I accidentally damage rental equipment?
    You will be held responsible for any damages due to neglect or abuse. However, we understand that normal wear and tear happens and things can occasionally break. Please let us know right away so we can assess the situation. We’re happy to work with you to resolve any issues fairly.
  • What should I bring to my session?
    Bring your instruments, cables, accessories (like picks or sticks), and any personal gear you prefer to use. Make sure drummers bring cymbals. They are not included in the room rental, however we do have cymbals packs available for rent.
  • What happens if I’m late to my session?
    If you arrive late, your session will still end at the originally scheduled time to accommodate other bookings. Please plan accordingly to make the most of your time.
  • When should I arrive and leave the studio?
    For hourly bookings you’re welcome to arrive no more than 15 minutes prior to the start of your session.
